Puertorican native of Juncos, Eddie was raised by parents that were teaches and that helped create and cultivate in Eduardo a passion for education at an early age. Eduardo attended the University of Puerto Rico where he studied computers and math. Later on he moved to New Jersey, continuing his studies at Middlesex Community College. He also holds an MCP from Microsoft. He was recognized by the CEO of United Parcel Services from among 350,000 employees, for services to the community. He then moved on to the Wall Street area, working in Information Services.

Eddie was also Board Member of The Association of Hispanic Entrepreneurs and Board member of Atlantic County Puerto Rican Parade. Eddie began his photography experience as a teenager, mentored by his father, Professor Eduardo Santos Cay. As an entrepreneur, Eddie passionately has photographed presidents, governors and many celebrities. Eddie also loves to photograph nature and cultural events. He continues to exhibit his work throughout the USA and Puerto Rico. Since 1999 his work with PuertoRicans.Com has been viewed by millions of people all over the world.
